Bills Bar is known for its vibrant live music performances in the heart of Fenway Park. After connecting with a local promoter, I coordinated and scheduled a performance for Lessa and the Mores. I also created graphics to promote the event on social media and recorded their live performance for submission to various venues. I also did photography for the event to be promoted by all parties involved to maximize reach. This show was so great for the band, they went from Lessa to Lessa and the Mores!
The WTBU X WECB Battle of the Bands event was hosted by Emerson College, and featured a representative band from both Boston University and Emerson’s radio shows to compete for the title of most talented school. I coordinated with the venue, the Emerson representative, and WTBU’s music director to create a successful show.
Brandy Melville Studios
Bills Bar - Fenway
Arranged plans for the band to travel to New York City in order to partner with major fashion brand Brandy Melville as a part of their music promotion initiative. Lessa and the Mores were able to record live studio performances and were able to gain major exposure through Brandy Melville’s social media platforms. Their recording were featured on the companies instagram and TikTok channels.
Wonderland
WTBU X WECB
A local DIY venue in Allston, MA, that has accumulated over 2,000 active followers in the greater Boston area - making it the second most followed DIY venue in the area. I was able to use my connections within the local scene to secure this gig, schedule the date, draft the bill, and craft the setlist. This opportunity opened doors to connect with other college artists in the area to create future bills with, and also significantly increased their local credibility and reach. Pulling their biggest crowd to date - this show was a major success.
Media Strategy
From traditional media and blogs - to social media strategy and brand image. I strive to create an engaging and active social media plan for the band to maximize user engagement on social media sites and commit to outreach to song reviewers, playlist curators, and local blogs. I was able to utilize the skills I had developed at John McCallion Music PR to further Lessa and the Mores music careers.
